AQUAEL was created in the 80s it was the time when the aquarium was very popular in Poland and there was a constant lack of aquarium accessories on the market. Under these conditions, in the fall of 1983 Mr. Janusz Jankiewicz - a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering Faculty of the Warsaw University of Technology - registered a private company and assembled the first 30 air pumps of its own design on kitchen table in a rented apartment in the Warsaw district of Praga.
