Air-Pot is a plastic container (HDPE: High Density Polyethylene) recycled and reusable which, thanks to its design, is actively developing the quality of the root system of plants. Air-Pot consists of original walls with cones closed within and open to the outside. The inner cones lead the roots towards the outside open cones where high air density dehydrates the tip or, in other words, the cut.
The porosity of the Air-Pot creates better conditions for bacterial activity
which increases the nutrients available to the plant. Indeed in a classic container entire root mass is found against the wall and is more sensitive to climatic conditions. Ability to store plants at least 2 times longer in the same container.

The porosity of the Air-Pot creates better conditions for bacteriological activity that increases the nutrients available to the plant. With so many young roots to catch the water and nutrients available, the vigor and health of the plants are guaranteed.

Air-Pot is a recycled and reusable plastic container that thanks to its design actively develops the root system of plants. This revolutionary potting method produces an exceptional root system without chignonage. This is impossible to obtain with other containers.

Made of recycled HDPE (High Density Polyethylene ), Air-Pot is circular in shape, with a perforated 3D wall, like a box of egg. It does not have a flat surface to deform the roots and begin the mounding. The roots are directed towards the air holes at the end of the cones, where the high air density dehydrates the tip or, in other words, the air-pruning. The reaction of the plant to this process of size by air is the formation of more roots. Thus plants develop a dense, fibrous and radial root system very quickly. Advantages comprehensive description:

This fact gives a very important advantage not only to nurseries, but also to garden centers, where the stock of plants stays sometimes until the following season, and for landscapers whose original work program is often delayed for various reasons. As long as they respect the requirements of water and food the root structure will only be better from one season to another.

Better reaction of the plant in extreme climatic conditions. Continuous cerning by air always gives new roots, especially at the base of the trunk. Root tissue is not only more effective for absorbing water and nutrients available in the soil, but it is also less vulnerable to extreme cold and heat. Indeed, in a conventional container the whole root mass is found against the wall and is more sensitive to climatic conditions.

Remarkable reduction of losses. An immediate recovery after transplantation means that the losses are greatly reduced and therefore the quality of the stock of plants in nurseries becomes a selling point and a guarantee for the customer.

Simplified production. Stocks of young plants can be directly transplanted into 30/50/80 liters containers, reducing potting. In the United States the plants are grown 4 years in the same pot. In Australia the growth times for some species have been reduced by about half. In the UK tests underway show a significant reduction in growth times.


Use Air-Pots in indoor. Air-Pots can be used with or without base. Ideally, when using Air-Pots without a base, the fabric of the Superoots Fielder should be used under the clod. It is also possible to use plastic film or the above-ground treated fabric. The Air-Pot container must be assembled in such a way that the holed cones point outwards. So that the closed cones on the inside force the roots to move towards the holes where the cuts are exactly on the end of the root.

Containers can be manufactured in any diameters and heights, it is the container that adapts to the root ball and not the reverse. Roots that grow laterally are constantly surrounded, rooting down is not a problem. The root structure of plants grown in Air-Pot allows to move the plants after two months without risk of losing the substrate and deform the root ball.
